Opening day is here! This upcoming Friday, March 19th the doors will open at 12 p.m. The kitchen will be open at 2 p.m. So, with the times we are in right now, there are some strict rules we must follow.
Remember, we are all in the partnership together and keeping our members, your families, and the building safe is our top priority. For the initial opening, each and every member is allowed one guest (Significant other). We ask for the initial opening, no children at this time until we are back to normal capacity and all members have had a chance to get back into the building. Trustee Vanessa Heinzman has a fogging machine for COVID and she will be fogging the club before we open and on a regular basis. She is volunteering her time and machine to the club to help us keep safe. Andy Chencharik has further installed the air purification system voted on by the membership at the last General Membership Meeting. Thank you , Vanessa and Andy. Additionally, there will be a sign in sheet next to the front door when you arrive to sign in your guest. If you are alone, please sign the book as well and write your temperature down. You will see a wall mounted temperature unit to the left of the door. Reciprocal rights having been suspended with all other organizations until we are back at 100 %. Simply put, members first during our re-opening. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend at your club. Ron Heinzman, GPYC Commodore |
