November 2019 Commodore’s Message
 
November 10th is our annual Veteran’s Day breakfast at the GPYC.  This year promises to be one of the biggest events yet.  We will be serving our breakfast from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a ceremony on the first floor commencing at approximately 10:45 a.m.  If you haven’t had a chance to attend any of our club events yet this year, this is beyond a doubt one of the best events our club hosts.  We will have numerous Vets and Service Men and Women at your club and there is no better way to show our respect and gratitude for those that protect our freedoms and liberties.  
Again, I wish to thank the Entertainment Committee for doing an outstanding job with the Children’s Halloween Party.  Denise and her crew are working hard now on the Children’s Christmas Party and New Years Eve.  
 I wish to give a special shout out and “Thank you” to member Fran Germaine.  Fran is a member that always goes above and beyond, donates her time and does countless things for the GPYC and the Board of Trustees.  Thank you again Fran for donating all the pumpkins for the children’s party.  All you do for us is very much appreciated.
