commodore's message

First, I would like to say, “Happy Veteran’s Day” to all our Service man and woman, both active and retired.  Thank you for your service and sacrifice.  We will be holding our annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast at the GPYC on Sunday, November 7th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.  Ronald Brooks will be singing the National Anthem and Ocean County American Legion Commander Brian Hagal will be our guest speaker.  
 
            I wish to again thank all the GPYC members that came out to clean up the club after the storm we had.  The water just made it into the front door of the building leaving a small pile of sand to the right of the door.  The exterior grounds were in bad shape, but only temporarily due to the quick response from our GPYC team.  Board members Linda Clarici, Lenny Gomez, Ernie Chapman, Rainer Moellering along with members Eric Baumann, Dave Slowinski, Stan Kazima, John O’Keefe, Jeff Pfatt, Joe Carey, Don Krebs, Danny Comer, and Kevin Hart; thank you again!
 
            I will keep everyone up to date with the weekly emails and we hope to see everyone this Holiday Season at your club.
