commodore's message

           Even though the weather did not cooperate for the Memorial Day Party, we will be posting a date to host a July party on the Beach.  We will get the information out to you soon.  I have asked Denise Giuffre and Entertainment Committee for some summer entertainment ideas such as DJ’s/Live bands.  
 
            Information recently went out regarding a Boater’s Safety Course, which is going to be held right here at the GPYC.  The class will be held on June 22nd and June 24th.  The starting time is 5 p.m. and you must attend both classes.   I would like to thank member Colette Conroy for taking the time to set this class up for us.  If successful, we will look to have classes on a more regular basis at the club.  Linda Clarici and Vanessa Heinzman have sent the information out via Email and Facebook.  
 
            I would like to thank some of the members that have working exceptionally hard during our reopening process.  Rainer and Diane Moellering, Eric Baughman, Vanessa Heinzman, Linda Clarici, Lenny Gomez, Dave Slowisnski, Andy Chencharik, Tom McGovern, Dave Felton, Tom Herr, Russ Cline, and Kristen Aquino.  
 
            On behalf of myself, the Board of Trustees, and the entire kitchen and bar staff at the GPYC, we want to say thank you and welcome back now that we are fully open again!
